he's been pretty much yellow, and i've been kind of blue, but all i can see is red red red red red now

-Have you ever licked the back of a CD to try to get it to work?:
No...I might have licked my finger and tried to smudge off something, but I can confidently say my tongue has never touched a CD firsthand.

-What's the largest age difference between yourself and someone you've dated?:
One year. But I have no cap I put on that.

-Have you ever been on a blind date?:
Not really. Blind meetings, but not really dates.

-Are looks important?:
Well, I think you have to be attracted to the person, but that's not all on looks, nor does it necessarily mean any certain type of looks.

-Do you have any friends that you've known for 10 years or more?:
Yes, but none that have stayed consistently at the same level for that long.

-By what age would you like to be married?:
I don't know ... thirty, I guess.

-Does the number of people a person's slept with affect your view of them?:
Yeah, in a way...if it's different from what I suspected, I suppose.

-Have you ever made a mistake?:
Yes, I'm sure I've made several. Just this week, goodness.

-What's the most you have spent for a haircut?:
I think, like, $50? I wanted Josh for my hairdresser because he was amazing for my prom hair. Then he up and moved to Arizona or California or something and I up and moved to New York City. It was not to be, I suppose.

-Have you ever had a crush on a teacher?:
Oh yeah. I have a few on teachers right now, shoot.

-What song do you want played at your funeral?:
"Seasons of Love" from the Rent movie. I enjoy that version more.

-Would you tell your parents if you were gay?:
Yes. I'm not, but I would if I were. I don't think they'd take it wonderfully, but they'd ultimately be okay with it, I'd think.

-What would your last meal be before getting executed?:
I'd pretty much eat everything I've looked at and said, no, better not have that right now, it's not good for me. Examples: pizza, pastries galore, tubs and tubs of ice cream, cookies, cake, chips and dip, cheese in several forms (mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese, just blocks of cheese), bread in many forms (rolls, baguettes, slices), pie (especially the crust), lots of frozen stuff (like Pizza Rolls, those old kiddie TV dinners), Rice Krispie treats, Cool Whip straight, cupcakes (iced, of course), chocolates (especially caramels, nougats, and those with nuts), Buckeyes! (the candy kind obviously), fries, lots of things from Dairy Queen (most notably ice cream cake, Peanut Buster Parfaits, and Blizzards), those little asian koala chocolate/strawberry things, pasta in many forms (mostly of the cheese variety, like ravioli, shells, tortellini), and many more, then to finish it off some good alcohol (I'm thinking Dom Perignon and Jack Daniels, plus some French red wine) and maybe some chocolate soy milk and a few soy iced vanilla lattes. Yeah.

-Beatles or Stones?:
Beatles. (Although I am starting to like the Stones more than I did. But definitely the Beatles.)

-If you had to pick one person on earth to die, who?:
That's definitely not mine to decide. I guess someone who genuinely wanted and was ready to die, if I had to pick.

-Beer, wine or hard liquor?:
Hard liquor. Then wine. Never beer.

-Do you have any phobias?:
Yes, dinosaurs, which is ridiculous but true. And I really don't like snakes or spiders.

-What are your plans for the future?:
Finish undergrad, get into vet school, finish that, get a practice, somehow fit some marrying/children in there?

-Do you walk around the house naked?:
No. Sometimes a minimum of clothing, but not naked, and that's really only upstairs when I know no one is home.

-Hair color you like on someone you're dating?:
I go all over the place with hair color. I like it all really.

-Do you have any special talents?:
I can play clarinet. At least, I used to be able to.

-What do you do as soon as you walk in the house?:
Here? Go to my room, take off my purse and coat, throw them on my bed, and sit down in my chair usually. At home, greet Honey.

-Do you like horror or comedy?:
Comedy.

-Are you missing anyone?:
Yes.

-If you weren't straight, what person of the same sex would you do?:
I know it's cliche, but Angelina Jolie. There are other women that I think are prettier, but that's not what you asked. (And then maybe she can bring Brad. =) )

-Who is the person you can count on the most?:
Everyone has their moments on and off.

-If you could date any celebrities, past or present, who would it be?:
Jimmy Stewart, Johnny Depp, Josh Groban, John Mayer. And of course, many many more, but if I listed them all, it would honestly get ridiculous. And take me forever.

-If you could date any fictional character, who would it be?
Noah from The Notebook. Although he wouldn't want me because he's all for Allie, but we can pretend.

-What did you dream last night?:
I don't remember. The other night I had a lot of 'real life' dreams, which I never have -- things happening in my dreams which could very theoretically happen in real life. For example, I dreamt I had already gotten up and showered and ready, and also that *someone* had changed their profile (to disclude me) which I really thought was a memory from the day before until I checked it and saw that the profile was the same.

-What is your favorite sport to watch?:
Football. College.

-Are you named after anyone?:
Not really.

-What is your favorite alcoholic drink?:
Um, depends on why I'm drinking. I'd tie champagne, Jack Daniels, good red wine, and Long Island Iced Teas.

-Non-alcoholic drink?:
Water. Did you know Volvic is coming to the states??? That's the water I fell in love with over in France, and wouldn't you know, today they were handing out free flavored waters down Union Square West -- I was like, well damn. Thanks.

-Have you ever been in love?:
Yes, but not in all ways.

-Do you sing in the shower?:
Yes, but not always. Usually only if there is music and my home involved.

-Would you ever get plastic surgery?:
Only after an accident or burns or something. I don't really think I'd do it just for cosmetic reasons.

1. Cigarettes:
eww.

2. Kissing:
is very, very nice. As long as you like who is involved.

3. Relationships:
are proving to be way too fucking difficult for my life right now. Which isn't to say that I don't keep throwing myself into the fire regarding them.

4. Your Last ex:
That's so old.

5. Power Rangers:
I was the pink one for Halloween once.

12. Halloween:
is fun to dress a little slutty. A little, I said, girls!

13. Bon Jovi:
has some pretty sweet hair.

14. Religion:
is not something I'm a huge fan of. Religion means being tied to one idea, and I just think it's a man-made mess-up of the more elemental spirtuality.

15. Myspace:
I basically use to further semi-stalk people (sorry, kids -- it happens) and to read bulletins.

16. Worst Fear:
is not something I'm going to really ponder.

17. Marriage:
is something I don't see myself being ready for for awhile. But I guess you never know.

18. Paris Hilton:
actually looks ... well put-together when with Britney Spears nowadays? WHAT?? Britney. Please.

Shower curtain being closed. Seriously. And wet floors/mats/sinks all over the bathroom.

26. Pixie Stix:

27. Vanilla Ice Cream:

37. Heartache:
sucks. Plain and simple.

38. Love/Like:
Oh, that perpetual question. I feel much safer just throwing everything in the like pile so I don't have to worry about the problems that come with the love pile. Seriousness is daunting.

39. Time:
I really have more of it than I think. Or at least that I utilize.

40. Divorce:
shouldn't be a back-up option, but I think still needs to be an option for if things simply don't work, because sometimes they just don't.

Either way, the essential component to this Career Stage is that you are no longer just thinking about something different or feeling settled in your job; instead, you have taken the big and courageous first step to actually embark on something new.

You are Empowering in your Leadership Style
You are encouraging and motivating, which often means that you're helping others reach their goals and dreams. You see the value in giving your team members the opportunity to achieve, and you try to provide a work environment that will allow them to excel on their own. You are also likely perceived to be a great mentor as a result of your commendable patience and your talent for being instructive.
While you shine most in your ability to be an Empowering leader, you may still exhibit qualities of other leadership styles. The section below points out the areas in which you also show promise and that you may want to concentrate on developing. What's important to remember is that leadership style is a multi-faceted trait and one that may change and evolve as you advance in your career.

Other leadership styles that you show promise in
Traditional
An above-average score in this leadership style indicates a tendency to be cautious and somewhat reserved. This means you probably don't take unnecessary risks or make impulsive decisions. While you feel most comfortable leading in a subdued manner, this conventional style is valuable in that it is motivating to others since they can count on your for a solid and steady approach.
Innovative
An above-average score in this leadership style indicates that you tend to be innovative in creating new approaches to tasks. If tasked with leading, you bring a sense of confidence to most things you do, which can often motivate others. You are also not afraid to take some risks if it means finding a new and better way.
Diplomatic
An above-average score in this leadership style indicates that you are patient and poised, exuding a sense of calm. As a leader, you have a relaxed disposition that can make others feel assured and safe in your presence. You have the ability to be tactful in your interactions with your team members and take time to listen to their concerns and ideas. These are qualities that can be quite beneficial in many different facets of work.

Introspective
You are more Introspective than Expressive when it comes to your interpersonal style. This means that you have a quiet calm about you, something that others may perceive as being reserved or shy. However, this trait can be quite advantageous in that you are able to think things through before deciding to speak. You tend to be thoughtful and measured in what you say and it is likely you feel most comfortable working alone.
Deliberate
You are more Deliberate than Spontaneous when it comes to how you work toward your goals. This means that you are disciplined in your approach to work, taking pains to follow the rules and comply with the company's expectations. This trait is highly valuable in that you can be counted on to be reliable and consistent in all you do.
AgreeableYou are more Agreeable than Rousing when it comes to how you interact with others at work. As one who goes with the flow, you have the ability to adapt to almost any change thrown your way. You are quite accommodating of your colleagues, and it is likely that most people find you enjoyable and easy to be around.
PassionateYou are more Passionate than Composed when it comes to your emotional style and how you respond to stress. This means that you have a tendency to get emotionally charged about work issues and bring a high level of energy and intensity to whatever you do. While you may feel excited on a regular basis, this increased feeling of pressure can be quite motivating and stimulating if you know how to harness it.

Based on your answers, you are strongest in Communication Skills
You are likely an articulate person and have received positive feedback from others on your writing ability or your skill speaking to groups. Even if you aren't regularly called on to present ideas to others, you have confidence in your ability to convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and eloquent way. You are not one to get overly nervous when speaking to those in positions of authority. Instead, you get excited and energized when given an opportunity to display your skills.
Remember, this Universal Skill is a talent that you can utilize in all work environments and one that assures your value in most any job you do. You will continue to find that your Communication Skills are highly beneficial in whatever context you choose, not only to you but also to your employer.

Overall, you show strength in your ability to be an Independent worker and in your Trusting style of interacting with your colleagues.
How Does Age Affect Your Work Style?
Not only does age bring wisdom, but it also makes you more likely to question others. It seems to be that with more experience comes more confidence and a certainty in oneself and one's rationale for challenging a decision. The chart below illustrates the different work styles and the percentage of people who adopt each.
Your Independent Work Style
While you can be quite effective working on a team, you feel much more productive when you have the freedom to do things independently. You enjoy working automomously and feel that you are more effective and productive as an individual than as a team member. You are likely confident in your ability to come up with ideas without the help of others and trust in the quality of your work without feeling the need to have someone else review it.
Even though you prefer autonomous work, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are an introvert or one who likes to be alone. In fact, it may be quite the contrary. What is important to note is that your independent style is reflective of the fact that you believe you do your best work when you have the freedom to work on your own.
Your Trusting Work Style
You have faith in the decisions of your superiors, and you prefer following directions without questioning too much. You have an ingrained respect for authority and are accommodating to the needs of your organization and coworkers. You are most comfortable when you don't have to challenge people, which makes you quite easy to work with.
While you are a person who implicitly trusts organizational decisions, that doesn't necessarily mean that you don't also voice your own opinions. Instead, if it were important, you would speak up in a measured and careful way, making sure not to rock the boat too much.

As you can see, the value most important to you is Helping OthersFor you, work must serve a greater purpose than just the individual benefit you might gain from it. Instead, you have an altruistic outlook and want your work to benefit society in some way. It is important to you that your job helps make the world a better place and that you can help in some way. As a result, you also value the personal relationships you can foster in your work.
Even if you haven't yet achieved your desire to help others as much as you would like to, you continue to make work decisions based on this goal. Ultimately, you hope to be able to say that you contributed to society via your work, an achievement that will no doubt fill you with pride.
How Do You Compare?
Knowing how others score can give you perspective on how your values relate to the rest of the working world.
It might surprise you to learn that people are far more interested in Personal Growth and Helping Others than they are in making money. Here are the percentage of people who ranked each value as a top priority.
Another interesting piece of information is the discrepancy between men and women when it comes to the value of Achievement. Specifically, 22% of men rank Achievement as their top priority, while just 12% of women do.
What about the other values? How important are they to you? In the following section, you will find all of JASPER's work values ordered from your most to least important.
Security ( 7 )
Your high score indicates that Security is an important value to you. You want work to offer consistency and stability, with few unknowns popping up along the way. You likely make decisions based on the hope that your job will be secure for some time to come.
Personal Growth ( 7 )
Your score indicates that Personal Growth is of moderate importance to you. While your work may not be the primary way by which you define yourself, you want it to be meaningful and challenging. In an ideal world, work would help you grow as a person.
Balance ( 5 )
Your score indicates that Balance is of moderate importance to you. While you would ideally like a job flexible enough not to interfere with your personal life, you are willing to accept that your work will sometimes get in the way of your outside interests and/or personal relationships. You are willing to sacrifice some balance in order to further your career, and you make work decisions reflective of that.
Achievement ( 4 )
Your score indicates that Achievement is of moderate importance to you. While you may be determined to achieve as much as you can in whatever you do, it is probably not too important for you to reach a level of expert-status or be considered a pioneer in your field. Instead, you are driven to achieve simply for its intrinsic rewards and not necessarily for the external acclaim.
Financial Success ( 2 )
Your score speaks to the fact that monetary rewards are not too important to you. While you may still desire financial security, you are not simply motivated by the prospect of affluence nor do you make work decisions based on it.

Flexibility ( 6 )
Because of your adaptability, you favor a workplace that fosters a sense of fairness and affability, a place that understands and is willing to accommodate you. This environment is relaxed, feels safe, and most likely exists in a less traditional workplace.
Fast-paced atmosphere ( 5 )
As someone who most likely favors a consistent and low-stress work routine, you probably don't get energized or excited by the hectic nature of a fast-paced work environment.
Professional atmosphere ( 4 )
While you may not be opposed to a traditional office environment that requires a certain degree of professional dress and manner, this type of setting simply isn't a top priority for you.
Consistency ( 3 )
As someone who doesn't need to have the same routine each day, you don't place much importance on the consistency and stability more traditional work environments usually offer. Instead, you may prefer a more spontaneous and unpredictable environment.
Supportive atmosphere ( 3 )
When it comes to the emotional aspect of your ideal work environment, you aren't necessarily looking for an overly supportive setting. While you would probably mind if people were inconsiderate, you don't place a lot of importance on your workplace fostering compassion and fairness.

You most prefer working with Data
Good with facts and figures, you like the concrete aspect of quantitative work and feel comfortable even when tasked with researching and organizing large amounts of data. As a result, you might not enjoy brainstorming abstract concepts or theories as much.
Whether or not you're already in an occupation that involves a good deal of data, being good with quantitative computations, analysis, and synthesizing information into succinct explanations will help you excel in this area. You may want to explore Data-heavy occupations such as a scientist, psychologist, database manager, or accountant.

my reflection, in the window where i ride

1. Does anyone know your password to your myspace?
Not that I know of. And weird things don't show up, so I'm thinking no.

2. What was the last thing you ordered at McDonaldS?
Undoubtedly a McFlurry, though I don't specifically remember.

3. Are you an emotional person?
Yeah, probably.

4. Do you like your name?
Yes.

5. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Sorrrrta. The same kind of sorta that is transcribed on here in other places.

6. Ever felt jealous of your friend?
Yeah, sure.

7. What was the last thing you did?
Watched the OSU game.

8. Who is right next to you?
No whos ... no one is in the same room as me.

9. Who was the last person you ate with?
Say, at a restaurant or sitting at the same table? Um ... Wes and Hillary.

10. What song are you listening to right now?
"Walk Fast" by Josh Kelley.

11. How's the weather right now?
I actually haven't been outside all day (it's Saturdya, and yesterday was uber-icky/busy, so no judging), but I hear it's colder than it was yesterday so that's good.

12. Last person who called you today?
My dad, from the game. =)

13. Last lie you told?
Man, do I even remember? They come oh so often actually. Apparently nothing big because I can't remember it and I've gotten past yesterday...

14. Last song you sang?
I was just semi-singing along to "Days Like This" by Kellie Coffey.

15. Do you like anyone?
Uhhhh, yeah, actually.

16. Lost a friendship over something stupid?
Probably, but it seems to be nothing I regret.

17. Last thing you drank?
Water.

18. Last thing you ate?
The end of my loaf of bread.

19. What did you do last night?

20. Faked being sick to miss school?
Yeah.

21. What time did you wake up today?
Like, 12:45. It was late when I went to bed, and I was sleeping enough for two nights.

I've deleted it by now, so I'm not entirely sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say Zach.

23. Last person to text you?
Ditto.

24. What are you wearing right now?
My pajamas, slippers, and a hoodie. It's definitely the low-key day of the week. My hair is even up. Except that I have to get ready to go see Happy Feet on IMAX up in Lincoln Center with Nalleli and Shirley soon.

25. Are you too quiet to ask anyone out?
Eh, too quiet is not the right phrase. I usually don't make that move, if that's the true question here. I tend to be very stupid and wait forever for the other party to do so.

26. What is the first thing you notice about the opposite/same sex?
Usually hair.

27.Where are you right now?
In my room in NY.

28. What date and day is it?

Mostly, I get annoyed with the "do you like New York" question.

38. Do you like music?
Uh, yeah.

39. Do you want to get married?
Yeah, at some way later point in time.

40. To whom?
I do not know that yet. If I did, I'd probably just get married.

I remember vaguely some girl named Becky, and then some girl named Katrina ...

Yeah.

26. Has anyone ever cheated on you?
No.

27. Have you ever slapped a boy in the face?

Maybe. Change the once to twice, and definitely.

Not in the way that I'm assuming you mean.

36. What kind of cell phone do you have?
Some Verizon phone. It's a little scratched up and I drop it way too often, but I can't get a new one (without getting a new number) until my plan ends, so I'm stuck with it.

37. what's your screen name?
I'm not answering this question anymore. I have a suspicion that Google would find it.

39. So far do you like this survey?
Um, all of them are kind of melding together. I should be getting ready, so I'm a little hurried anyway, not relaly focused on it or how much I like it.

40. Have you ever had a good feeling about something and it turned out you were right?
Yes. Same with bad feelings.

41. Do you ever wish you were famous?
No.

42. Do you ever wish you were a man?
Not really, no.

43. Do you think any guy will open this just because it says girls survey?

THE LETTER A
are you available? I'm not not available. Saying I'm available sounds so strange. There's more to the issue than available or not available. I don't know, this phrasing freaks me out more than it really should.
what is your age? 19.
what annoys you? Oh, quite a few things. Lately it's mostly people walking slow/staring, leaving the shower curtain closed, and saying "on line" instead of in line.

what color is your hair? Blonde.

THE LETTER I
what's your favorite ice cream? Coffee Heath Chunk, I tink. But I'll always love Cookie Dough.

Rather unlikely unless I say something, and that in itself is rather unlikely.

They're fine. The older ones are obviously better than the newer ones. Wow it smells like my gingerbread latte and I just realized that.

Before, but we use them more as a leading-up-to thing.

Yeah...

My lack of patience, for it leads to problems with my surplus of anxiety, which leads to me not studying which was my original plan and ultimately what I continually hate.

24. Favorite place to be?
Lately, it's at home. At least, in Ohio, I mean. And part of me has a hard time continually leaving it if it's where I want to stay. I'm giving it a few days -- and a few situations closed -- to settle down, but the feeling is sincerely bothersome.

25. Least favorite place to be?
In a class I hate? Lately, at least, I mean. Especially with my lack of focus and intense need to focus.

26. Where would you like to go?

Yes. My feet get cold, I need them. They are fuzzy and purple.

28. What shirt are you wearing?
Green tank top, black sweater.

33. What songs do you sing in the shower?
Whatever's on the radio. Except not because I live with other people.

34. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
When I heard the helicopter flying overhead, I always imagined some mean criminal/theif types would break into my window to kill me. Beyond that, I wasn't really a monster kid. More terrified of people motives. Oh, sometimes I remember thinking something was hiding behind my bed when it was against the corner, but I also remember thinking that it was a crazy person, never some imagined animal or creature.

35. What's in your pockets right now?
Nothing. I spent my five from earlier.

You know, I'd actually never seen a shooting star (and with as much as I stargaze) until two nights ago -- Friday) on the farm when I just happened to look up at different occasions and see TWO. Rembrandt

5. I say Shotgun! You say?
fine, whatevvvv. i'll just ride in the back with the other lucky passenger and have a grand ol' time with them. =) i don't care where i sit as long as i like who i'm sitting with.

6. Last person you hugged?
nalleli.

7. Do you believe in God?
yes.

8. How many U.S states have you been to?

yes. both times i look back at it ... it's very uncomfortable now ... because i just don't feel that intensely about either of them, and realize i didn't even really in the moment. eh. that's not to discourage any of you from trying it again. it could work. i'm just saying.
