100 Questions For Your Answering Pleasure!
Basics
Je m'appelle - Jessica.

Age: 17.

Height: 5' 3".

Hair Color: Blonde.

Eye Color: Green.

School Life
What's your school's mascot? Well, as of 4 pm yesterday, it's now the Bobcats, which is ultra dumb, if you ask me. C'mon, I've been a Cougar Cub, a Panther, and a Cougar. Now, I have to be a Bobcat? That's my former rival mascot! I'm sure I'll get over it (I don't think I'll be playing too many sports. Or cheering for them, considering there's no football team.)

School color(s)? Purple and silver/white.

G.P.A.? I just graduated with a 4.71 weighted (4.0 unweighted).

Who is your favorite teacher? Teaching-wise, probably Johnson because I adore his teaching style. All-around, though, I've had such amazing teachers.

What do they teach? AP English IV.

Is this your favorite class? Yes, basically.

Internet
Do you use any instant messengers? Yep, AIM and Yahoo.

If so, which ones? Darn it! These surveys need to learn how to not separate questions like that.

About how many hours a day do you spend online? Um, a lot more now that it's my first ever free summer.

Do you have a digital camera? Ooooooh, yes. And it's gotten to the point that it's with me so much that people are beginning to comment, "Oh, you and your camera."

If so, do you post pictures of yourself online? Yep. Well, more of events in my life, but there are definitely the emo pictures that stay saved on the computer.

Music
Do you play any instruments? Yep. Wait for it ...

If so, what one(s)? Yay! It worked. Clarinet, and I moonlight on oboe, flute, and piano.

3 Favorite Genres Of Music: Pop, rock, jazz/big band.

3 Favorite Bands: The Beatles, Queen, Keane.

Do you go to concerts and/or shows? Yes, when I have the money.

What is the most you've ever spent on a concert/show? Probably about $50-80. Just ticket-wise.

What is the least you've ever spent? Free, of course.

Do you think buying merch at a concert then wearing it there is corny? Yeah, kinda. I like saving it 'til the next day.

Do you listen to any bands that you'd be ashamed to admit to listening to? No, I think having broad music tastes is something to be proud of, even when it's bad taste. Knowledge is power.

Did you notice the grammatical error in question 29? The questions are not numbered, but yes, the preposition in the last question bothered me slightly.

Word Association
Blue: Moon (you saw me standing alone).

Camera: Digital, heartness, love.

Boy: Girl, whew, young.

Pretty: Sweet.

Pants: Off, Pantalones.

Music: Sweet, love, melody.

God: Interesting, unknown, dynamic.

Sweater: Vest, set, cozy.

Live Journal: Want, community, NYU.

MTV: Shows, music, Vanessa.

Labels: Brands, A&F, cliques.
Do you think labels are dumb? No, labels of all sorts are there for a reason. And they can always be transcended.

Why or why not? Oh, shoot. I did it again.

What do people label you as? Probably an overprivileged person, a smarty pants, a goody goody, a band nerd, a teacher favorite, others. And, to prove my above point, all of those are pretty much true in ways. I'm luckier than I ever thought I should be, I'm pretty smart and sarcastic with that at times, I don't go around having sex or doing drugs, I'm *entirely* a band nerd (I'm having to convince myself to not major in music, geeze), my teachers do like me because I respect them, take time to understand their plights, listen in class, and do good work. Labels are there for a reason.

How/Why did you get this label? Oh, are you kidding me.

Which Is Worse?
Physical Pain/Emotional Pain? Emotional pain, wayyyyyy. Physical pain is something concrete, and thus you can solve it or focus on it easily. Emotional pain, though, is a whole 'nother story.

Blink-182/Good Charlotte? I like them both in their own rights. As I said, broad musical taste. Don't cut anything down. Bad music, good music ... it's all something from which you can learn and connect with others.

Being Deaf/Being Blind? I've pondered this question before. You see, deafness would take away all the lovely things I love about hearing ... music, familiar voices, laughing. But blindness would take away all the lovely things I love about seeing ... clouds, stars, familiar faces, a knowing smile from the people you love, pictures. I can't imagine being either, really.

Being Bored/Rushing around because you have too much to do? Boredness is worse. I like the rush of things.

Losing your dominant leg/Losing your dominant arm? Arm, probably. Both would suck (obviously), but I think with leg you can get those metal transplanty things that would act almost as a normal leg (for all intensive purposes), but with a dominant arm, a metal/plastic arm wouldn't be able to write for you, do little handy work things, you know.

Love
Do you believe theres a difference between "love" and "in love"? Of course. I love a lot of people, but I have yet to be "in love," I believe.

Is it better to have loved and lossed than to have never loved at all? Absolutely. The experience is worth everything.

Are you romantic? Quite. When I am with a person, I consider their feelings almost more than my own, and often come up with crazy ideas (like, just drive out to see them, kiss them when they open the door, then drive back home) just to be romantic.

Are you in a relationship now? No. I'm not at a good point in my life for a relationship. I'm leaving for college in 3 months, and every person that's in my environment now would not be in it in then, and I don't want to have to deal with leaving something like that behind.

If so, for how long? n/a.

If not, how long have you been single? A long time. I'm picky. Um ... officially, about a year and a half.

Are you a virgin? Yes, m'am.

What song describes your love life right now? I don't know ... it's on hold.

Ranomosity
War: Good or Bad? Um, bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad.

What do you think of designer labels? They're fine and dandy. I'm a little bit of a label whore. And yet I'm pretty cheap, so it doesn't happen often.

Who's skankier: Britney Spears or Paris Hilton? You know, I'd probably say Britney. Because at least with Paris, you've always expected her to be skanky.

What is it with guys and cars? I like cars, too. Just not in the crazy, I-can-spot-that-model-and-year-from-a-mile-away-and-then-tell-you-about-the-engine-and-stuff way. I don't know what it is about guys and cars, but it comes in handy.

Do you sing? Yep. In fact, singing with the choir yesterday at graduation was so sad. Mr. Rone looked at each of us seniors for like, five seconds, and then whispered thank you at the end. I cried.

If so, what part (Soprano 1,Alto 2, et cetera)? I've sung Soprano 1, Soprano 2, and Alto, each for two years. Though I generally prefer to rest in Soprano 2 land.

Kiss or hug? Kiss. I like hugs, like 'em a lot, but I like (romantic) kisses better.

What color is your room? Poiple.

How old is your mom? 42? I don't know, I can't be bothered with years. Ha. No, wait, if it's 2005, then she's 43.

Black and white or color photos? Color unless it's a dressed-up event, or one full of emotion, then I like black and white.

Who cuts your hair? It hasn't been anyone in particular for awhile, but I'm hoping it will be Josh Vasquez for at least the next three months.

What color is your toothbrush? Purple and clear.

What color is your hair brush? Gold and black. And purple and black. (I have two.)

What kind of hair products do you use? Nexxus Conditioner, Herbal Essences Shampoo, occasionally Garnier Fructis smoothing mousse.

Is K-Mart just the poor man's Wal-Mart? Are you kidding me?!? Wal-Mart isn't exactly a rich man's store.

Are you sXe? I don't know what that is. I know hXc, though!

Are you sexy? Oh, is that what it is. I can be if I want to be.

What color to people tells you looks nice on you? Green, because it brings out my eyes. Teal, contrast with my hair. Pink/red, contrast with the hair.

What color do you think looks nice on you? I really like red. And black.

Clothes shopping or grocery shopping? Clothes, all the way.

Who do you sit with at lunch? I don't do that anymore. I don't sit at a lunch table ... haven't since ... February? Used to be Bethany J., Ashley P., and Tricia.
Do you like the sound of your own voice when you hear it played back? Not usually ... it sounds younger to me.

Who has the nicest speaking voice that you know? Johnson? I don't know.

What is the website for one of your favorite bands? Can't you come up with that on your own?

Do you prefer to date people younger, older, or the same age as you? I prefer same age because they're usually in the same place mentally, although I'm not against a little younger or a little older.

Do you listen to songs on repeat often? Not too often, but when I find a new one I really love, I'll do that.

Who was the last person you hung out with? Everyone at Kim's party last night.

What did you and that person do? We played poker and roasted marshmallows/hotdogs/hotdog buns. Ha.

Do you use internet shorthand (i.e. "lol", "brb", "jk", et cetera)? Yes, but usually only for "lol," and I've convinced myself that's a word anyway.

How often do you bathe? I don't take baths per se all that often, really.

Are you a people-pleaser? Yes, pretty much.

Do you dye your hair regularly? Nope, never have.

What about your eyebrows? No, same.

Do you wear makeup? Occasionally, but not if I can get out of it. It's just a burden.

If you answered "yes", to #96, are you female? They don't have numbers!!! But yes.

Do you buy CDs edited or unedited? Unedited. I like 'em the way they were intended.

Can you beatbox? No.

Does your mom like the song "Hey Ya" by OutKast? Probably at some point she did.

Have You Ever?
Have you ever hit someone forcefully? Well, yeah, but not in a violent, I-hate-you sort of way.

Have you ever thrown anything at a moving car? I don't believe so.

Have you ever been in a fist fight? Nope.

Have you ever laughed so hard you cried? Oh yes, countless times.

Have you ever hit an animal on the road? Not that I know of. Almost hit a deer, once. And a bird. And a squirrel.

Have you ever seen a Beatles film? No.

Have you ever cussed? Yes.

Have you ever been on a subway? Yep, in Paris and in New York.

Have you ever taught a little kid to cuss? Nope. Let them corrupt themselves.

Have you ever cheated on a test/exam? Not really. As in, not that a teacher didn't know about or in a hardcore sort of way.

Have you ever skipped school? Yeah, but not hardcore. I've left when everyone else was leaving (senior last days), when I had an out of building, when I forgot something (lunch) or wanted to get something (senior pictures), when I had a pass (Burger King with Jordan after AP Chem), etc.

Have you ever egged someones house? Nope.

Have you ever gotten a computer virus? Yeah, they suck.

Have you ever cried for no reason at all? No, there's always a reason.

Have you ever missed someone? All the flipping time.

Tell me about your first¡¦
day at school - It was a long time ago and I don't remember it at all.

kiss - Sweet, at the right moment, waited for, in the dark highlighted by street lights, exciting.

girlfriend/boyfriend - An entirely elementary experience.

time getting high - Haven't.

time drinking - Felt forbidden, made me feel grown-up and like I belonged.

date - Stupid, stupid, stupid. Well, it was cute at first (watched the sunset at a park, and kissed and kept each other warm), but then took a turn for the way worse ... he watched TV instead of talking to me at a restaurant that he chose and I only agreed to because I wanted him to be happy (I hated the restaurant and the food ... loud, full of little kids, not conducive to romance or intimacy), and then he took control of my radio on the way home and screamed out really annoying songs, and then he had to be home early so I didn't even get any make-out gratification. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

time having sex - Haven't.

time you asked someone out - Oh, so scary. But successful.

time you ate sea food - I don't remember, but I don't do it anymore.

time getting in trouble for something really big - I don't know that I have ever been really.

detention - Sucked getting it (everyone made a big deal), but it was uneventful. The people in there were dumb, but I had time to write my DBQ (and didn't eat lunch, lol) so that was good. And no one knew who I was, thankfully.

time getting a filling - Sucked. They used this laser that was so f-ing hurt-y. It was cold and hot and burning and freezing all at the same time. And I had to pretend it didn't hurt, or otherwise I'd have to wait for them to do it the old-fashioned way. Ick.

fist fight - Haven't.

time you cut yourself - Haven't, in that way.

questioned existance - Oh, Lord. Do I remember the first time? Yes, in Chawla's Bio class. The first question provided leading to a long, long questioning of life.

Current..
current clothing - My AE dark stretch jeans, my AE "Gettin' Lucky" underwear (*love* these!), my Victoria's Secret bra, my Weathervane tank top, my band tour shirt.

current mood - Eh. I graduated yesterday, so I'm feeling a little torn in two directions about that and thinking I might not see some people ever again, and I'm a little pressed for money. I have it, and I want to spend it, but at the same time I like to save. But overall, I'm happy.

current taste - Cereal.

current hair - Down, straight, unbrushed.

current annoyance - My mind. Constantly reminding me.

current smell - Nothing in particular.

current thing you ought to be doing - Reading, preparing for grad party, finding out when other grad parties are, etc.

current jewelry - My class ring (for the first time since before France, aka mid-March), my new bracelet.

current book - Nothing yet, I have to find one.

current refreshment - Don't have one.

current worry - Not being able to see people anymore.

current crush - Eh, I'd rather not talk about it. Because basically, all I'd have to do is say the word, and it'd be more than that. But I don't know if I can say the word, and if I want to start anything like that now, and if I'd have the courage to say the word.

current favorite celebrity - I don't have one.

current longing - To be able to spend as much as I want and scrapbook and see people and guarantee people would keep in touch.

current music - None.

current wish - See current longing.

current lyric in your head - "I'm all for believing if you can reveal the true colors within, say you will be there for me to hold when faith grows old and life turns cold."

current makeup (if you're a girl!) - None, or whatever's left over from yesterday ... aka nothing.

current undergarments - AE green boy short, black Victoria's Secret bra.

current regret - Not telling some people how I really feel, not making a move when I think it would've been received well and I wanted to.

current desktop picture - Choir practicing at graduation.

current plans for tonight/weekend - Well, I know Katelyn's graduation party is today, and I have to go accompany my sister to a pool (reading time!), and I wanna buy some scrapbooking stuff and get pictures developed if anything's open today.

current cuss word du jour - Fuck. It's my ever-favorite.

current disappointment - It's the not seeing people, not telling people how I really feel thing. And that he didn't make a move either. I'm obvious about it, he's obvious about it, why aren't we both forward people???

current amusement - Jenny's friend asked if they could jump on the trampoline and Mom said, "No, absolutely not," and the girl looked scared. Heh.

current favorite movie - Casablanca.
